With agricultural land making up 37% of all land use in the wet tropics, the impact of cyclone Yasi to crops and related infrastructure from Cairns to Ingham was severe. Although the extent and long term consequences of the damage to agricultural industries are still being assessed, Terrain has collated a summary of some of the known and projected impacts.
