Education for Sustainability - Agriculture
Written by Michele Dale

smallcolourluluSustainable agriculture has far-reaching implications for maintaining and improving the health of our ecosystems and therefore everybody's lifestyle, now and into the future.

Using examples of local industries and community efforts in sustainable agriculture engages students by discussing topics with which they already have some level of familiarity.  They are able to reinforce and apply new concepts regularly as they continue to interact with the local environment in their everyday lives.
