The next Far North Queensland Pest Advisory Forum (FNQPAF) will be held on the 24th of November 2011, in the Mitchell Room at the Mareeba Primary Industries research station.

The last FNQPAF was a huge success and drew a crowd of 93 people.

The morning will host a training session (Pest Fish Training the Trainer), and the afternoon will host the open discussion forum, and the research and best practice presentations.  Click on the image for the full details and agenda.

Furthermore DEEDI have only had two nominations for the pest manger of the year award, this is open to anyone who you believe puts in the extra yards in the field of invasive plants and animals management. You need JavaScript enabled to view it the nominee's name and a brief statement as to why they are worthy of the award by Friday the 11th of November. A voting process will then be established. The winner will be awarded a plaque and a prize sponsored by Quickcorp.

There will also be a lucky door prize.
