Capture your NRM footprint and win!

Entrants are starting to flow in for Terrain's 'Thongs and facebook' competition - NRM North Queensland style!  The closing date is in two weeks so if you want a chance to win 1 month of paid work experience with Terrain, read on...

The competition is seeking young people and/or those seeking an opportunity to get hands-on experience to learn about natural resource management in the Wet Tropics.

Almost 100 pairs of 'Terrain' branded thongs were handed out at JCU's Open Day on Sunday 21st August in Cairns. Further requests have come across Terrain's Communication Officer's desk from others wanting to get involved.  Participants are asked to undertake a little creative photography in order to win the prize...

  2. Make sure you 'like' Terrain on facebook to keep up to date.
  3. Take a pic of the thongs in a place/scene/situation that reflects how you feel about NRM.
  4. Post the pic on Terrain's facebook page along with a brief description.
  5. The more 'likes' the photo receives, the more chance it has to win! (The winner's pic will also be judged by Terrain internally to assess its relevance and appropriateness).

The winner will not only get the valuable prize, but also the glory of the picture flashing about on various promotional publications for all the world to see!
