Do you know something about the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area that's simply too good to keep a secret? Can you argue why your corner of the Wet Tropics is so special and unique; why it's better than any other rainforest in the world? Well, the Wet Tropics Management Authority (WTMA) needs your knowledge! WTMA is seeking to 'pick the brains' of individuals and organisations who understand the true beauty and wonder of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. Would you like to be a part of the region's branding process that will assist the Wet Tropics become one of Australia's National Landscapes? Five workshops are scheduled to take place in mid August, at various locations between Townsville and the Daintree. The aim of each workshop is to uncover the region's unique positioning and the experiences that make it world class. The success of the workshops lies in the knowledge tied up in the minds of everyday locals and businesses that live and breathe the Wet Tropics. Please, we need your help to make the Wet Tropics National Landscapes Project a success. Workshops are proposed for: Cairns (15/8), Mossman (AM) & Tablelands (PM) (16/8), Mission Beach (AM) & Ingham (PM) (17/8); however this will depend on demand received for each workshop. Spaces are also limited. If you are interested in participating, please email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and include:
