Associate Professor Allan Dale from James Cook University Queensland will provide a current insight into the potential for carbon marketing in the Rangelands at the “Let’s Talk Landscape Management” Catchment Conference on Wednesday 6 April 2011 at the Coomealla Club, Dareton.

“Much needs to be done to secure the longer term sustainability of Australia’s rangelands landscape” said Professor Dale.  “The key issues include enhancing the productivity and sustainability of grazing systems, securing biodiversity, integrated weed and fire management and boosting the social viability of rangeland communities”.
