Members have their say all around the region...and at the AGM!
Written by Kathryn Dryden
Terrain has undertaken a suite of area-based Members' forums around the region. If you didn't make it to one, it's not too late - come to the AGM!

The Local Members' forums provided opportunity for members to interact with Terrain's Area Teams and meet the new CEO, Carole Sweatman.

Through the forums, significant discussion around improving Terrain's services to members, funding arrangements, and the next Regional NRM Plan were discussed.

John Harrigan (Darradgee Environmental Education Centre), James Dunn (Innisfail Babinda Cane Productivity Serves), Wayne Thomas (Canegrowers Innisfail), and Carole Sweatman (Terrain NRM CEO) at the Cassowary Coast area-based forum.

Outcomes are being combined to report back on and promote further discussion at the AGM at which we hope you can attend.

One particular item that came out of the forums was the challenge in engaging youth. Guest speaker Sam Morris from Wombat Creative will present a case study and provide tips on effectively engaging 'Gen Y' as part of the Members' Forum 'Tricks for the Toolbox'. Click here for more information.
