By Friday 30 April details of the nominees for the vacant position of Industry Representative on the Standing Independent Selection Panel were forwarded to all Members by post.

Members were invited to attend a General meeting on Friday 28 May in Innisfail, following the next Board meeting. At this meeting, delegates or delegate's proxies will vote to appoint the Industry representative for the next four years. For further information contact Colleen McIntosh on 4043 8000.

The Standing Independent Selection Panel (SISP) is elected by Terrain members and is responsible for the appointment of Directors and the Chair to the Terrain NRM Board. The SISP determines the recruitment process and manages the short-listing, interviewing and the selection on behalf of the Members.

• An independent chair with broad based NRM skills, experience, credibility and respect in the Wet Tropics Region
• An industry representative
• A conservation representative
• And an indigenous representative
