Terrain seeks Expressions of Interest for feral pig control

Proposals were called for in February, from suitably qualified services providers to deliver an on-ground integrated feral pig control program in the Innisfail and Tully catchments. 
The EOI’s closed on 26th February.  The project which is funded for 12 months involves a partnership between Local Government, State Government Agencies, Industry Groups and Individual Landholders. Feral pig damage on farms in the Herbert between 2001 and 2008 has totalled $4,849,600. (Advertisements appeared in the Tully and Innisfail newspapers).
