Urban sustainability

In the Cairns Post on Saturday 27 June, it was announced that the Satterley Property Group's Smithfield Village Project has been awarded Excellence in Environmentally Sustainable Development Built Form in the Best Residential Subdivision category of the Urban Development Industry Association Awards.

The feature of the project was bioretention basins which organically treat stormwater before discharging into the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.
