Reef Rescue Round 1, 2008/09: Impact report

Based on local data and approximate industry size in the Wet Tropics, it is estimated that Reef Rescue facilitated practice change across 21% of the cane industry, and 20% of the banana industry.

An Impact Report evaluating the impact of water quality outcomes for Round 1 of Reef Rescue is available for download. It is the first annual report that aims to assess the impact of the Reef Rescue program on agricultural practices and water quality in the Wet Tropics. It assesses the pre-Reef Rescue management practices and nutrient input data, forming a baseline for future reporting.
