North Australian Agriculture Mud Map
Keith would like to talk to you about your thoughts and experience with agriculture in the north of Australia, particularly if you are a farmer, grazier, or researcher.
North Australian agriculture is a risky business, but its participants are renowned for their resilience and adaptive capacity. Northern Australia’s opportunities for further agricultural development are diverse, but not agreed, and being actively explored by contemporary Australia, with world population growth, a rapidly increasing Asian middle class, and global food security cited as justification. But introduce climate change, foreign investment, community expectations of improved environmental outcomes, and a prior history of heroic failures; and is success assured?
